Carrie (Markham) Gutierrez is the owner of Strikeout Pitching, LLC. She was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona where she grew up playing softball with various local organizations as well as volleyball. Carrie then went on to Belmont Abbey College outside of Charlotte, North Carolina where she earned a scholarship for both volleyball and softball. She competed for four years in both sports on the collegiate level. After graduation, while working towards a Masters degree in Leadership and Organizational Change, she met Denny Tincher, of Tincher Pitching and became a Certified Instructor in 2010.
Carrie moved back to her home state of Arizona in 2012 and began offering pitching lessons in the greater Phoenix area while implement Tincher Pitching philosophy and constantly evolving pitching research. Carrie now has over 10 years of pitching development experience as well as collegiate playing experience to help develop her pitchers.
In her free time Carrie enjoys spending time with her husband, Chris who is also a professional coach (baseball) and their young daughter Callie. We are a sports minded family and believe that youth sports are the gateway to later successes.
